TLAC 2008 is in the books, Congrats goes to Red River Region based in Shreveport for winning their first TLAC Club Challenge Championship. RRR (the smallest club in Louisiana) did a wonderful job in both getting the membership to attend as many events as possible and scoring the most points possible per event, and for that there reward is club champion for 2008. Top honors also go to Jeff and Jean Schaadt of RRR, the husband and wife team claimed both the Pro and Ladies Championship in 2008 piloting there GS Mini Cooper S.
Thanks goes to all competitors that participated in this year’s events, and congrats to all of the class champions for 2008. Now time to gear up for ‘09, see ya’ll then!

Here are the Class, Pro and Ladies Challenge Results from TLAC 4 held at EVOC in Zachary, hosted by Cenla Region. Delta Region member Ken Orgeron claimed the Pro Challenge win over Jeff Schaadt of RRR by .012. Jean Schaadt of RRR brought home the Ladies Challenge win as well, and Event FTD went to Zachary Perkins from Sowela Region for a time of 40.919 in his CRG F125 Kart.

This is the prize that the TLAC clubs are shooting for, the coveted TLAC Trophy. Red River Region holds over a 900 point lead over Delta Region going into sundays event. Make sure to have you popcorn ready because this is going to be good.
The Final TLAC for 2008 will be held at the Emergency Vehicles Operation Center(EVOC) in Zachary on November 9th, CENLA will be the host region. Online registration is still open at DLBRacing.com

After TLAC 3 Red River Region holds over a 900 point lead on Delta Region going into TLAC 4. Most impresive was Connie’s run, piloting Paul Carrig’s STX Volkswagen R32 her final Pax time would have put her 3rd amonst the Men in the Pro Challenge, Way to go Connie! The next TLAC event is not far away! Round 3 of the Trans-Louisiana Autocross Championship will be held by Delta Region SCCA at Zephyrs Feild in Metiarie, La. on October 5th. With 2 events left on the schedule the points in both class and pro are shaping up to fight down to the wire! Check out where you stand in the championship!
